The town of Vierzon

In the heart of the Central region, Campo’Village is ideally located so that you can enjoy all the regional treasures. Start your discovery of the surrounding area with a visit to Vierzon. You will be under the spell of this town bordered by the Cher and the Loire, only a few kilometers away. You will enjoy discovering the different facets of the city, strolling along the banks of the Cher, observing the medieval monuments and stopping in the restaurants. We advise you to make a stop at the Vierzon Museum, dedicated to the tractor, a must-see of regional heritage. Vierzon is a lively city where life is good. Come and discover the city celebrating during the next edition of “Estivales du Canal” or during the July and August festivities

Cycle tourism

Many cycle routes and cycle paths pass through the region and near our wilderness campsite on the outskirts of Bourges. Campo’Village is a relaxing stopover offered to you during your cycling route. Follow the Loire with the “La Loire à Vélo” route, a 900-kilometer cycling route, linking Cuffy to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins. You can also take the “Canal du Berry by bike” route over 330 kilometers. You will pass by the most beautiful places in the region. Our campsite is perfectly suited to welcoming cyclists thanks to our dedicated pitches, our equipped tents and our bike room .  

The unavoidable

Less than an hour's drive, you can visit the most beautiful points of interest in the region such as the Beauval Zoo in Saint-Aignan or certain Châteaux de la Loire like that of Chenonceaux. Many activities could also be on the agenda for your days, such as tree climbing or beautiful horseback riding on the banks of the Cher. 

The surrounding towns and villages

Within a one-hour drive, discover the villages and towns that make the region famous. We advise you to go to Bourges with its famous cathedral, to discover the potter's village of La Borne, to pass through Marseilles-les-Aubigny and its port, to visit Salbris and its Saint-Georges church, but also Aubigny-sur-Nère and its Auld Alliance interpretation center.
